SP20 J Headwall
SP20J precast headwalls are produced with a horizontal wing walls at the front of the apron. SP20J precast headwalls are for inlets or outlets situated in locations with high or steep embankments or where the structure is required to provide protection to an accessory such as a flap valve, duck bill valve, stop logs or weir wall. SP20J precast headwalls have been designed to suit plastic and clay pipework up to 1200mm and concrete pipework up to 1350mm. The backwall height is 2000mm. SP20 J precast headwalls are manufactured in 2 sections. Althon SP20J precast concrete headwalls are cast to suit the diameter and type of pipe being used and can be provided with fixings cast in at the time of manufacture to accommodate gratings, trash screens, flap valves, ladders, guardrails and flow and depth monitoring equipment.
SP20 precast headwall units can be factory fitted with a range of accessories such as flap valves, penstocks, Kee Klamp® handrails and a selection of gratings depending on the application. The SP20J headwall weighs 7780kg / 3890kg per half.
We can offer coloured headwalls in 4 colours but the final shade is affected by many influences.
