Bespoke Headwall and Grating 

The headwall and grating shown are a bespoke design based on a clients sketch for a project in Downderry, Cornwall. The headwall only required 1 wingwall due to the customer wanting a concrete footpath on the right hand side that the headwall would then butt up against. The trash screen required a working platform for maintenance purposes and is manufactured to BS EN 1090 standards.

Approved Mammal Shelf to be used on HS2

Althon have recently been approved to supply mammal shelves to the Align/ HS2 project.

HS2 projects require the fixings to comply with stringent material specifications which our mammal shelves comply too. To date we have already supplied 42metres of mammal shelves which will help keep the badgers safe.

Althon Working to Reduce Carbon Emissions 

As a company we are striving to reduce our environmental impact. To date we’ve been able to reduce the amount of cement used in the production of our precast concrete products by in excess of 45%.  This is only one of the areas we are currently exploring and will continue to do so over the coming months
