Althon have launched a range of Manhole Pipe Safety Chains.

Althon Manhole Safety Chains should be secured across the sewer pipe on the downstream side to prevent anyone being swept away whilst in the manhole. 

Althon Manhole Pipe Chains comply with Sewers for Adoption 7^th Edition and the Civil Engineering Specification for the Water Industry.  Each kit comprises two Dynaset M8 Anchors, two M8 Eyebolts, two Carbine Snap Hooks and the requisite length of chain. Each kit is available in Galvanised Mild Steel or Stainless Steel.

Althon Supply Headwall with 1000mm Wastop

Althon have recently supplied one of our H20CB Headwall units with a 1000mm Wastop flow control device Pre-Fitted.

The unit was supplied to a waster water treatment works, enabling the contractor to quickly and easily undertake the installation.

Althon Supplies Island of St Helena

Althon are pleased to have supplied our HD4000 Channel to the Island of St Helena.

St Helena is one of the most isolated islands in the world. For centuries, it was an important stop over for ships sailing to Europe from Asia and South Africa. The British also used the island as a place of exile, most notably for Napoleon.

Saint Helena is Britain's second oldest remaining colony (now termed overseas territory) after Bermuda.
