New Precast Concrete N Headwall Range 

Althon have a new range of precast concrete headwalls that have been designed to suit steep banks or site conditions that have little depth from back to front for installation.

Our new N range of headwalls are manufactured to the same standards as our Sewers for Adoption headwalls and can be used on Section 104 Agreements where the sewers are to be adopted by the local water company.

We cast the opening in the back wall to suit the pipe diameter and material of the pipe being used. We can cast multiple pipe openings, elliptical, square or rectangular culvert openings into any of our headwalls. We can also cast pipe openings into the wing walls.

Bridge of Orchy Headwalls

Althon have recently supplied several headwalls with factory fitted Kee Klamp Handrail to Bridge of Orchy, Scotland. 

We can deliver headwalls to anywhere is the UK pre fitted with Kee Klamp handrail, Flap Valves, Penstocks and other flow control devices. Saving time on the installation and has great health and safety benefits as the headwalls will not need to be drilled on site.

New Curved Orifice Plates 

Althon have a new range of curved orifice plates for manhole chambers in galvanised steel, stainless steel 304 or 316. We manufacture curved orifice plates to suit all pipe sizes and provide the opening in the plate to your specified dimension and position required. We will send out all necessary fixing materials and an EPDM seal with every orifice plate.

We can also manufacture flat orifice plates to fit to flat surfaces or factory fitted to our precast headwalls and precast concrete inspection chambers.

Headwalls with Pond Liner Brackets 

Did you know Althon have can manufactured precast headwalls with pond liner brackets pre fitted?! 

We have recently supplied several headwalls to Norfolk with pre fitted pond liner brackets. Having the brackets factory fitted saves time on site and makes for easy installation. 

You can use our Headwall Specifier to find the headwall you require. On request we can provide pricing and design drawings for your chosen headwall with pond liner brackets.

New ASA Manhole & Hydrobrake Penstocks

Althon has a new range of ASA Manhole & Hydrobrake Penstocks which have been designed for use in manhole chambers and hyrdobrake chambers. 

Our Hydrobrake penstocks are suitable for use with pipework up to 300mm and have a design life of 50 years at 1Mwc and 72 hours at 5Mwc.

Typically the contractor will create a flat surface within the manhole chamber to fix the penstock to. The smoother the surface finish of the concrete the better the seal will be between the penstock and the wall. We provide all required fixing bolts, chemical anchors and an EPDM seal with every penstock.
